I ♥ NYCC! (schedule updated)

AAZ11

Literally counting days to fly New York.
There is a while I dont go there and I really missed it. The official reason to go, is, of course, NYCC, one of the coolest conventions in USA, where i’ll be proudly sharing an Artist Alley table with my long time friend Gustavo Duarte. As usual we will have some goodies to sell:

Gustavo will have his classic indie books TAXI and BIRDS, and is bringing the brand new graphic novel MONSTROS!. An amazing book it worth to check out.

I’ll have American Vampire Hardcovers volumes 1,2,3 and the just released 4. All written byScott Snyder and illustrated by me and some top talents, such as Jordi Bernet, Sean Murphy and others and limited and signed prints.

Our table number is Z11 and can be found on the Artist Alley. Pass by!

Besides that, I’ll have some activities at the DC booth. Check out my schedule:

Thursday 10/11
8-9pm SIGNING (DCE Booth #1238)

Friday 10/12
1:30-2:30pm
PANEL (VERTIGO: A View From the Cutting Edge of Comics – Room 1A23)
6-7pm
SIGNING (DCE Booth #1238)

Saturday 10/13
5-6pm SIGNING (DCE Booth #1238)

See you in a week!

Rafa.

    Rafael,

I’m really glad you made it to NYC and the NYCC. I told my wife you were my favorite current artist and she fell in love with your Catwoman print (the limited to 100 on display).

She’s not into comics at all, but it made me proud that we could share something so awesome as being very excited about that print and we’re having it framed tomorrow.

We bought it on Saturday, and we didn’t say much because I didn’t want to be one of the awkward fans (lol), but thank you for being very cordial and friendly. We’ll take a pic of the framed print and send it to you.

And the reason you’re my favorite current artist is you’re a master of expression! Anatomy and perspective is a craft, but expression is the most difficult in my opinion.

Take care, and we hope to see you again.
